I got bit and bought the last 54 c Trek XO-1 cyclocross in the Trek warehouse. Man is it fun. If you don’t believe me, watch this.

You can’t beat mud, downhill turns, and sliding bikes. Thankfully my rides have been a lot more easy and serene. My son and I baptized my new cross bike by riding around Salem Lake. I took this picture of the water, but if you turn the picture upside down you’d think you were looking at it right-side up. Very pretty. Fortunately, I didn’t turn the cross upside down.
