Beach Bicycling

Vacation. Leisure. Cycling. What more could you want. Here you see Edbro rolling with a tailwind towards the Oak Island Lighthouse. The ride back to the seaside shack was a scream. 25mph average? Maybe.

Riding at the beach is a lot like riding a fixed gear — you’re always peddling. Either you’re headed into the wind, and you’ve got to peddle, or you’re got a tailwind, and you can’t not help but push hard.

I pastor Grace Presbyterian Church in Kernersville, North Carolina which locals fondly refer to as K-vegas -- the town not the church. As D.T. Niles once said, "I am not important except to God."
