It’s Cold Out There

Can’t get over how cold it is on the bike. I can’t get over the harsness of weather and entropy. I was headed out Piney Grove last week when my derailleur cable broke afterwhich I limped home with two gears. Took my rode bike to the shop where it awaits the diagnosis which I fear will be the need to replace the shifter. In addition, my fixed gear’s rear wheel needs a spoke replaced. Unless I hear from the shop this morning, it’ll be Salem Lake today — which for all the cruelty out there, may be just what I need.

I pastor Grace Presbyterian Church in Kernersville, North Carolina which locals fondly refer to as K-vegas -- the town not the church. As D.T. Niles once said, "I am not important except to God."
