"I ripped out that site"

“Early on I was having trouble getting my body going,” Morrow told Sportsnet 590 The Fan’s Mike Wilner on Saturday. “I was having a little trouble with some with high blood sugar.

“My insulin infusion site wasn’t absorbing the insulin and then when it’s real high like that you have no sugar being absorbed in your body and it’s tough to get it going,” he explained. “So I had to rush in (to the clubhouse). I ripped out that site, put in a new one, got myself a few units of insulin and tried to get back out there and deal with the stuff I had at that point.”

More on Brandon Morrow who is a Type 1 Diabetic and a pitcher with the Blue Jays. More here. One thing absent in his account is any sense of entitlement.
