Chum, Big Red, and Good Doctor are working on those mountain miles for a challenge event next month. Here’s a photo story of what was beautiful, quad busting, frustrating, and amazing about this week’s big ride up to the three summits: Pilot, Sauratown, and Hanging Rock.

The sign said that the road was closed, but you know we had to check. Unfortunately the way back to the detour was all up hill. As if we had gone up hill enough already.
Here’s the view of Hanging Rock from the detour. Only 2 of the three went for it. Big Red was dead.
