You’ve heard it before, but the phrase, “preaching the gospel to yourself” can be a little confusing. What’s that all about, and why do I, if I’m already a Christian, need the gospel? Tim Challies’ posts some thoughts from Jerry Bridges on preaching the gospel to yourself here.

The Tour de France concluded on Sunday, and I am now recovering from a Tour hangover. What a race! I think this event is one of the most beautiful, tragic, and heroic sporting events of the year. The Big Picture posts some photo’s from the week here.
