Little Comfort?

I’ve been enjoying hanging out at Salem Kitchen. I hadn’t been there to write in a couple of years. Standard fare is a double capp and an oatmeal cookie. I’m hoping that the weather changes soon for the warmer or at least springier variety. I can’t eat comfort food all year.

Headed out on the bike with the Good Doctor on Thursday–when the weather was warmer. Doc pulled me into a headwind for half the ride down to Lake Tomalex. I appreciated the help and enjoyed the tailwind back.

We detoured through the swamp–a peculiarly Doctorish route especially with the Friendship-Ledford cut through back to Mock Road.

It’s supposed to snow on Sun-Mon. I think I’ll be looking for a double-capp and some oatmeal cookies.

I pastor Grace Presbyterian Church in Kernersville, North Carolina which locals fondly refer to as K-vegas -- the town not the church. As D.T. Niles once said, "I am not important except to God."
