Chum and Red headed north to start building for the fall challenge classics. It looks like they’re thinking of Blue Ridge Brutal, Tour des Gaps, and Bridge to Bridge. Red is glad to report that Hanging Rock is still there, and it’s still a climb. The last time the two were up there was before Blood, Sweat, and Gears.

Well, they did pretty well, considering. The two stopped at the General Store in Danbury. Chum got his obligatory Red Bull and fried apple pie while Red just got a Mountain Dew — tasty. Having sat down, in the rocking chair out front of the General Store, Red about didn’t get back up. Sometimes just hangin’ and rockin’ is just what’s needed.
