Fall Riding

Frost is on the pumpkin, hay is in the barn, goose has gone to fly….

Out riding south out Teague and who do you think I met up with? The Good Doctor and Frau Jan going for an afternoon spin. Rode with Frau Jan back to Haavenstatt, and then rode with the Doc back to Curry.

Coming back on Pine Tree, I was caught by the fall color, which has finally started coming out in Kvegas. The picture doesn’t capture it, though. The red was luminous as was the yellow — so much for technology. I was followed by a flock of geese heading over to Salem Lake, I guess. Which reminds me, I road up on a gaggle in the water at Salem Lake the other night who responded violently to my headlight. Man, they were pissed, but that’s another story.

I pastor Grace Presbyterian Church in Kernersville, North Carolina which locals fondly refer to as K-vegas -- the town not the church. As D.T. Niles once said, "I am not important except to God."
