Right Dang, Rambolicious!

The Ramblers ate and the conversation rolled on Friday night. Much thanks to the Good Doctor and Mrs. Doctor for their hosting and the roast beast, risotto, and did I mention the wine. (No, I’m not talking complaining, John). Mmmmmm. And the company? Laughter, teasing, listening, and caring…. I don’t want to sound maudlin, but this kind of camaraderie and companionship is what should mark every peleton. Remember Gang, “Saki says, ‘Ride together.'”

Mrs. Tailights got the BEST throwaway line of the night. We were talking about WB’s new series, Pushing Up Daisies. In the series the restaurant the main characters frequent is called, the Pie Hole. We were laughing at the name, when TL asks his wife, “Do you know what your pie hole is?” Mrs. TL, who hadn’t spoken 10 words all night said, “Yes I do, and you can shut yours.” Badabing!

We also got to celebrate the Good Doctor’s birthday. Congrats Doc, and many happy returns.
