Yesterday, Der Jan and I traveled to Boone to spend some time on the bike and in the mountains. We did my favorite route: George Hayes Gamble which takes Bamboo Road out past Samaritan’s Purse and right on Geoge Hayes Road, up to the Parkway past Greenhill Road, over 321 and up to 221, back to Blowing Rock on 221, left on 321 towards Boone, right on Aho Road to the parkway and back down George Hayes Road.
We were stopped by a concerned motorist who informed us that we couldn’t be seen. However, she stopped to tell us because she saw…. Nevermind.
It was foggy (or is that cloudy?) and our elevation looked like this on the left. Great day, great ride, great company. Never you mind the weather. Get out and ride.
